Nanette Clifton is a mother of four lovely daughters and the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren. After retiring just before the COVID-19 pandemic, she felt the need to find a purpose for her time. The idea of volunteering had often crossed her mind, and three years ago, she decided to take the plunge. Nanette began her journey at a local school, and to this day, she continues to dedicate her time and efforts there.
As her grandchildren were involved in calisthenics, Nanette started contemplating how she could make a difference in their world, and this year, she seized the opportunity to do so. Nanette immersed herself in various roles, including assisting with the vocal, choir, dance, and calisthenics sections; an experience she has found to be incredibly fulfilling and thoroughly enjoyable.
Nanette wholeheartedly encourages anyone who is considering volunteering to give it a try as it is truly rewarding.
