Herald Sun Aria perfomer in profile
Canadian born Australian baritone Jeremy Dubé completed a Bachelor of Music (Performance) and Master of Music Studies (Opera Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Jeremy has most recently performed the role of Figaro in Opera Australia’s Victoria Schools touring production of The Barber of Seville.
His other operatic roles include:

- Les Gendarme (Francis Poulenc, Les mamelles de Tirésias, Sydney Conservatorium of Music)
- Papageno (W.A. Mozart, Die Zauberflöte, Sydney Conservatorium of Music)
- Mercurio (Francesco Cavalli, La Calisto, Sydney Conservatorium of Music)
- Elder Ott (Carlisle Floyd, Susannah, Opera New England)
- Hymen (Henry Purcell, The Fairy Queen, Sydney Conservatorium of Music)
- Winter (Henry Purcell, The Fairy Queen, Sydney Conservatorium of Music)
- as well as a soloist in the Conservatorium’s Centenary production of Leonard Bernstein’s Mass.
During his studies, Jeremy won a place in the ESTIVO Summer School in Verona, Italy.
After being selected as a finalist, Jeremy was awarded the Encouragement Award from the German Australian Opera Grant in 2018.
