Hello, I’m Bernadette Reus and I have lived most of my life in Ballarat growing up with three siblings. I started volunteering with Royal South Street Society around 1999.
My three children have all competed either in Speech & Drama or in music, this is what led me to becoming involved. My third child competed in the instrumental sections & I always enjoyed watching her in that.
I have mostly volunteered at Royal South Street Society as a Front of House Usher & occasionally in other areas as required.
Sovereign Hill has been another interest for me over the past 29 years where I have volunteered in FOSH (Friends of Sovereign Hill).
I enjoy meeting people from different walks of life and my volunteering experience at the Royal South Street Society Ballarat Eisteddfod and Sovereign Hill allows me to do this!
