We received the news that one of our beloved volunteers Doug McGregor passed away recently.

Doug’s time with Royal South Street Society began almost 40 years ago, and he has been a dedicated and active volunteer ever since.

Doug loved ushering and coming into the office for a chat.

He loved history and theatre technology, having worked many years with Her Majesty’s Theatre.  He shared his wonderful Ghost Stories with us recently, and these appeared in our Halloween posts earlier this year on social media.

Doug will be greatly missed in our community.

Vale Doug McGregor and our heartfelt thanks for your dedicated passion, commitment and friendship to so many here at Royal South Street Society.
