Estella has been competing at Royal South Street Society Ballarat Eisteddfod Dance competition since she was 6 years old.  Her first time attending RSSS was in the baby class solo section in 2012.

Since then RSSS has been one of her favorite competitions and she has competed there every year since.

It was always so special at Her Majesty’s Theatre.  Turning up at the stage door and getting the butterflies in your tummy and the joy of performing as a soloist and troupe member on the raked stage was always such an amazing experience. Even though we haven’t been able to dance at Her Majesty’s for the past few years, RSSS is still a very magical experience.

Estella has been dancing and singing since the age of 3.  She has trained in tap, jazz, ballet and singing and her favorite style is musical theatre.  That’s why it was such an honor to win the Senior Theatrical Championship Solo in 2023.  It was her first year competing in the section and she absolutely enjoyed every minute of it.  It is such a fun section for the competitors and the audience.

Royal South Street has been such an integral part of Estella’s dance journey, especially last year when she was selected as the recipient of a full scholarship to Ministry of Performing Arts College.  She has been lucky enough to take up that scholarship this year as well as continuing her fabulous training with the amazing team at Michelle Slater Performing Arts Studio.

Estella cannot wait to perform again this year at RSSS.
